Instant Crispy wheat dosa in 15 mins || Godhumai dosa – Easy and Quick recipe

Really quick and magical dosa. Those who don’t like regular wheat dosa would like this version of wheat dosa. Let’s quickly jump into the recipe:

  • Prep Time: 5 mins
  • Total Time: 10 mins
  • Serves: 2 – 3

  Ingredients needed:

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Water – 2 to 3 cups
  • Green chili – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – finely chopped
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Hing/Asafetida powder -a pinch
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Roasted Sooji or Roasted Broken wheat(Dalia) – 1/4 cup (OPTIONAL)
  • Salt – As needed
  • oil – As needed


  • Mix Wheat flour + dalia or sooji (optional)+ salt +green chili +coriander leaves +cumin seeds+ hing +water
  • Mix it without any lumps and make thin consistency batter
  • Divide the batter in two bowl, and add finely chopped onions to one part of batter


  • Heat tawa and apply oil; Pour batter from little height (Like drawing a circle and filling inside). Don’t spread the batter as a regular dosa
  • Drizzle little oil outwards and cook for 2 to 3 mins. Once it is cooked and crispy edges, carefully flip the other side and serve
  • Similarly, you can make Onion mixed dosa as well

Serve with any chutney of your choice


  • Curd and grated ginger can be added. But I would avoid It for dinner. It is totally your choice
  • Adjust water as per the consistency
  • You can avoid Dalia or sooji. Just the wheat flour will work well.
